M. Kobe is a multidisciplinary artist working with repurposed materials or found natural materials. Everything they use is given to them by friends or collected from the places they’ve lived in Louisiana, North Carolina, and Tennessee. M. also uses many items deemed superstitious or lucky, such as pennies, dimes, bay leaves, birds nests, wishing stones, and wishing bones.

Much of M.’s work is framed by the fictitious short stories and poems they write. While at Azule, M. worked on a series of textile based works related to their writing.
