Rachel Watkins
(She/Her)
Administrator
Rachel is a graduate of Young Harris College with an AA in Theatre Arts and Brevard college with a BA in Wilderness Leadership and Experiential Education. She has a broad work background ranging from medical and accounting firms to community farming and ropes course facilitation to administrative support for large religious nonprofits like the North Carolina Conference of the United Methodist Church and Lake Junaluska Conference and Retreat Center.
Rachel has been a creator for most of her life, though never professionally. She often jokes that her “hobby is collecting hobbies” and most of those hobbies are centered around picking up new mediums to work with – from yarn and fabric to copper enameling and everything in between. Many of her projects are centered around working with dream images and symbolism in the tradition of Jungian depth psychology.
As a long time admirer of Azule and its mission, Rachel is thrilled to hold a role in helping this incredibly special place operate.
Our Mission & Vission
Azule is dedicated to both the Arts & our Community through the promotion of programs dedicated to facilitating exchange and providing opportunity.
