33 Gorenflo Gap
1989-1993

Very large environmental art installation utilizing natural and manmade materials. Constructed in a mountain cove of ropes and cords strung between natural objects, with listening stations at key points where the viewer could stop to see many different facets of the installation and listen to recorded soundtracks. Over a period of four years, the grassy land of the cove was transformed into a public garden and open air art studio giving visitors a challenging perception of the conventional view of mountain land. Remained open to viewers for two weeks once completed. This celebrated the formal opening of Azule.
