Amanda Jade Kendrick was born in 1995 in Lansing, Michigan. She received her BFA in Studio Art from Albion College in Albion, Michigan. Kendrick’s paintings have been included in several juried exhibitions including: the All-Media National Juried Show in Arnold, Maryland; The 6th Annual Armstrong National 2-D Competition Exhibition in Savannah, Georgia; and The Statewide Art Competition at The Ella Sharp Museum in Jackson, Michigan, and The Michigan Collegiate Art Exhibition in Lansing, Michigan. She has also exhibited her work at the Albion City Hall in Albion, Michigan for her first solo exhibition. Kendrick is currently working on a body of work that investigates childhood memories titled Bittersweet. She worked at the Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts this summer as a work-study studio assistant. Kendrick currently lives in northern Michigan.
